Lily Yazno-Bartle, Esquire will present Kids Learn What They Live at Lower Merion School District – Belmont Hills Elementary School Library on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at 7:00 p.m.
This presentation will focus on the benefits of inclusive practices for all students. Although the benefits of inclusion for students with disabilities are well documented and legally required to the maximum extent possible, not much is said about how inclusion benefits non-disabled students. The limited research available supports the inclusion model for non-disabled students. These benefits range from higher self-esteem to a higher emotional IQ. Join this lively discussion and learn why we all benefit from inclusion. This presentation is sponsored by the HSA of Lower Merion School District.
