December 12, 2017

Guardianship Presentation by Liliana Yazno-Bartle – Does my Adult Disabled Relative Need a Court-Appointed Guardian? Tuesday December 12th, at 6:30-8:30 PM. Location The Arc Alliance, Eagleville, PA..

Not all disabled individuals need a court-appointed guardian.  Recognizing that the majority of individuals with disabilities live in the community with the assistance of their families or a system of support services without the need of a guardian is an important first step in understanding the guardianship process.  This session will explore the different things to consider in order to determine if there is a need for a court-appointed guardian. It will also explore the guardianship process and the different types of guardianship – limited vs. plenary, Guardian of the Estate and Guardian of the Person. For more information contact
