Annual Miracle Workers Appreciation Night
April 28, 2004
The
Exceptional Needs Foundation (ENF) celebrated its first annual Miracle Workers
Appreciation Night by honoring the work and achievements of 21 extraordinary
individuals who have made a lasting, positive impact in the lives of children
with special needs. These "miracle workers" were nominated by the
parents of the children they work with or by their peers in the field.
Taking care of special needs children takes a lot of time. It takes a lot of
dedication. It takes a lot of heart. The people who devote so much of themselves
to bring light to a child’s life rarely get the recognition they deserve and,
for a night, we turned the spotlight on them.
